Ryan Orewiler

Ryan Orewiler is a Columbus, Ohio–based artist and entrepreneur whose work is rooted in the intersection of art history, architecture, craftsmanship, and contemporary visual culture. Raised in German Village and a graduate of St. Mary’s, Orewiler developed an early appreciation for the historic architecture, character, and creative spirit of Columbus.

He earned a degree in Illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design, establishing a foundation that continues to inform his multidisciplinary practice. His work draws from urban environments, world history, mythology, modern art, and the relationship between humanity, nature, and technology.

Orewiler is recognized for his large-scale paintings, murals, and distinctive abstract works, including his Metro Grid series. His practice emphasizes craftsmanship, conceptual depth, and bold visual language, often transforming architectural and cultural influences into contemporary works designed to engage both public spaces and private collections.

Through painting, murals, and collaborative projects, Orewiler continues to expand his practice while creating work intended to inspire, connect, and leave a lasting impression.
